Panorama hike Val Roseg - towards the glaciers

We start our hike with a wonderful view of the Engadine lakes, as we take the cable car to the Corvatsch middle station (Murtèl). On a wide path we start towards Fuorcla Surlej, where our views are now directed towards the higher mountains. The Bernina massif and the Sella group, as well as the surrounding glaciers, are impressive. We can now marvel at this panorama on the high trail and finally reach the Chamanna Coaz SAC hut. Not far from the glacier and majestically situated on a small rocky peak, the hut is the ideal place for our lunch break. Then we head out of the valley, first a short steep descent to the huge glacial lake Lej da Vadret and then along the lake to the glacier forefield of the Roseg and Tschierva glaciers. We officially end our hike at the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Gletscher. Those who wish can linger in Val Roseg, walk the forest road out to Pontresina or take the horse-drawn carriage out of the valley
